Job Summary
The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting doctors in medical procedures, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. The role involves monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and maintaining accurate medical records.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in accordance with hospital protocols and standards
Monitor and record vital signs (BP, temperature, pulse, respiration)
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and surgeries
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports
Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control in assigned areas
Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and post-care
Respond promptly to patient emergencies and provide first aid when required
Coordinate with other healthcare professionals for patient care
Follow hospital policies, ethical standards, and safety guidelines
Required Qualifications
Diploma / B.Sc. in Nursing (GNM or B.Sc. Nursing)
Registered Nurse with valid Nursing Council license
Minimum 0–2 years of experience (freshers may apply if specified)
