Staff Nurse

Key Responsibilities:

1. Student Health Care

• Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries and sudden illnesses.

• Monitor and manage students with chronic conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes, epilepsy).

• Administer prescribed medications and maintain proper documentation.

2. Health Monitoring & Screening

• Conduct routine health checks (vision, hearing, BMI, etc.).

• Identify and report communicable diseases or health concerns.

• Maintain immunization records and ensure compliance with health regulations.

3. Health Education & Promotion

• Educate students on hygiene, nutrition, mental health, and wellness.

• Organize health awareness campaigns and workshops in collaboration with school staff.

4. Record Keeping & Reporting

• Maintain accurate and confidential health records for all students.

• Prepare monthly health reports and incident logs for school administration and MediGuardian.

5. Collaboration & Communication

• Coordinate with teachers, parents, and school counselors regarding student health needs.

• Liaise with local health authorities during outbreaks or emergencies.

• Support school staff with health-related training and guidance.
