Staff Nurse

• Direct Patient Care:

  Providing hands-on care, including administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient conditions, and assisting with daily needs like personal hygiene. 

• Patient Monitoring & Assessment:

  Observing patients for changes in health status, recording vital signs, and performing necessary physiological assessments. 

• Care Plan Management:

  Developing, implementing, and evaluating personalized care plans in coordination with physicians and other members of the healthcare team. 

• Documentation:

  Maintaining accurate and detailed patient medical records, including their conditions, treatments, and responses. 

• Patient & Family Education:

  Educating patients and their families about illnesses, preventative measures, and post-hospital care to promote understanding and compliance. 

• Collaboration:

  Working effectively with physicians, other nurses, allied health professionals, and support staff to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care. 

• Supervision:

  Guiding and mentoring nursing students and newly qualified nurses, and sometimes overseeing the work of nursing assistants. 

• Safety & Hygiene:

  Ensuring patient safety, maintaining a clean and well-equipped clinical environment, and adhering to infection control protocols.
