Staff Nurse

We are looking for a Staff Nurse to join our team at KITES Senior Care to provide quality healthcare services to patients in our Geriatric Care Centres. The day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, assisting doctors during procedures, and ensuring high standards of hygiene and infection control.

This role requires compassionate patient care, strong clinical expertise, and adherence to professional nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care and monitor patient conditions regularly.

• Check and record vital signs accurately (BP, pulse, temperature, etc.).

• Administer medications and IV treatments as prescribed by physicians.

• Follow medication safety protocols (six rights of medication administration).

• Assist doctors during rounds, procedures, and dressings.

• Maintain accurate nursing documentation, medication charts, and reports.

• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges as per protocol.

• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and follow-up care.

• Ensure hygiene, infection control, and biomedical waste management standards.

• Maintain proper handover/takeover during shift changes.

• Report adverse drug reactions and clinical incidents appropriately.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Qualification: ANM / GNM / B.Sc. Nursing

• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of clinical nursing experience

• Registration: Valid State Nursing Council Registration (mandatory)

• Willingness to work in rotational shifts (including night shifts).
