Job Summary
The Advanced Emergency Medical Technician will be responsible for delivering high-quality pre-hospital emergency care, safe patient transportation, and timely medical assistance during emergency and non-emergency ambulance operations. The role requires strong clinical skills, quick decision-making, and the ability to work under pressure while coordinating with hospital emergency teams.
Key Responsibilities
Provide advanced pre-hospital care, including airway management, IV access, medication administration, and trauma care.
Respond to emergency calls and assess patient condition quickly and accurately.
Stabilize critically ill or injured patients and ensure safe transport to the hospital.
Operate ambulance equipment such as monitors, ventilators, defibrillators, suction units, and stretcher systems.
Communicate effectively with doctors, nurses, and the ER team during handover.
Maintain accurate patient care reports, documentation, and treatment records.
Ensure ambulance cleanliness, equipment readiness, and medical supply stock.
Follow all safety protocols, infection control practices, and emergency care guidelines.
Assist during mass casualty incidents, disaster response, and hospital emergencies when required.
Required Qualifications
AEMT Certification/Diploma from a recognized institute.
Valid State Registration (as applicable).
1–3 years of experience in an ambulance, emergency, or critical care environment.
Strong knowledge of Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Emergency Care techniques.
Ability to operate emergency medical equipment confidently.
