Job Description

Job Summary:

The IVF Staff Nurse is responsible for providing nursing care to patients undergoing fertility treatments, assisting doctors during procedures, and ensuring patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist doctors during IVF procedures such as OPU, ET, IUI, and scans
Prepare patients for procedures and provide post-procedure care
Administer medications and injections as prescribed
Monitor patient vitals and maintain accurate nursing records
Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of procedure areas
Handle and store medicines and consumables properly
Counsel patients with basic instructions and emotional support
Follow hospital policies, infection control, and safety protocols

Requirements:

GNM / B.Sc Nursing qualification
Valid Nursing Council registration
Basic knowledge of IVF procedures (training can be provided)
Good communication and patient-care skills

Work Environment:

IVF clinics / hospitals with rotational shifts if required.
