Job Description

Job Summary:

The IVF Staff Nurse is responsible for providing nursing care to patients undergoing fertility treatments, assisting doctors during procedures, and ensuring patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist doctors during IVF procedures such as OPU, ET, IUI, and scans

  • Prepare patients for procedures and provide post-procedure care

  • Administer medications and injections as prescribed

  • Monitor patient vitals and maintain accurate nursing records

  • Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of procedure areas

  • Handle and store medicines and consumables properly

  • Counsel patients with basic instructions and emotional support

  • Follow hospital policies, infection control, and safety protocols

Requirements:

  • GNM / B.Sc Nursing qualification

  • Valid Nursing Council registration

  • Basic knowledge of IVF procedures (training can be provided)

  • Good communication and patient-care skills

Work Environment:

IVF clinics / hospitals with rotational shifts if required.
