Staff Management:
Supervise and manage the nursing staff across departments.
Participate in recruitment, training, orientation, and evaluation of nursing personnel.
Prepare staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels.
Operational Oversight:
Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of nursing services.
Monitor the performance of nursing units to maintain quality standards.
Investigate complaints and resolve issues related to patient care or staff behavior.
Policy and Compliance:
Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
Maintain records and documentation in accordance with hospital policies.
Quality Assurance:
Monitor and improve the quality of nursing care through audits and feedback.
Lead infection control and patient safety initiatives.
Support continuous professional development and training for staff.
Budgeting and Resource Management:
Assist in budgeting for nursing services and monitor expenditures.
Ensure proper inventory and use of medical supplies and equipment.
Collaboration and Communication:
Coordinate with doctors, allied health professionals, and administrative staff.
Represent the nursing department in hospital meetings and committees.
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Nursing (B.Sc/M.Sc Nursing)
Registration with the Nursing Council
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Preferred Attributes:
