Job Summary:

A Staff Nurse provides high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in a healthcare setting. They are responsible for assessing patient needs, planning and implementing care plans, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on nursing standards and practices.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

• Monitor and record vital signs and patient conditions.

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and post-hospital care.

• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care.

• Respond promptly to emergencies and follow established protocols.

• Ensure patient safety, hygiene, and comfort.

• Maintain infection control and other health and safety procedures.

• Support patients emotionally and psychologically during their treatment.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing (GNM/B.Sc Nursing)

• Valid nursing license/registration with the nursing council

• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification (preferred)

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing procedures

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work well in a team and under pressure

• Compassionate and patient-centered approach
