Job Title: Staff Nurse
Job Summary
A Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care, administering medications, monitoring patient health, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The nurse works under the supervision of the Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse and follows established medical standards and protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Assess and monitor patients’ health conditions.
Record medical histories and symptoms accurately.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Assist in diagnostic tests and analyze results.
Operate and monitor medical equipment.
Provide wound care and change dressings.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Educate patients and families about treatment plans and home care.
Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid or CPR when needed.
Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
Collaborate with doctors, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred).
Proven experience as a Staff Nurse or similar role (preferred but not mandatory for entry-level positions).
