Position: Staff Nurse
Department: Nursing

Reports To: Nursing Supervisor / Nursing In-charge

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients as per hospital standards.

• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and assist doctors in procedures.

• Maintain accurate patient records and update case sheets.

• Perform wound care, IV cannulation, catheterization, and basic nursing procedures.

• Ensure proper infection control, hygiene, and safety practices.

• Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and allied health teams for patient care.

• Prepare and manage nursing equipment and supplies.

• Support patient and family education regarding treatment and care plans.

• Handle emergency situations and provide first-level emergency care.

• Adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and NABH/quality standards.

Requirements:

• GNM / B.Sc Nursing / M.Sc Nursing.

• Valid Nursing Registration Certificate (State Nursing Council).

• Minimum 0–3 years of clinical experience (freshers can apply).

• Knowledge of basic nursing procedures, infection control, and patient safety.

• Good communication skills and patient-friendly approach.

• Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency situations.
