Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and licensed Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient education, and ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical drugs. This role requires a deep understanding of pharmacology, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.

• Review prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, and potential drug interactions.

• Provide counseling to patients on proper use, storage, and potential side effects of medications.

• Maintain accurate records of dispensed medications and patient interactions.

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

• Manage inventory and place orders for pharmaceuticals and supplies as needed.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety standards.

• Educate patients on wellness, vaccinations, and other healthcare-related topics when applicable.

• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm or Pharm.D).

• Valid pharmacist license from [state/country licensing authority].

• Proven experience as a pharmacist (hospital or retail preferred).

• Strong understanding of dosage requirements, drug interactions, and pharmaceutical law.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with pharmacy management software (e.g., Mediware, WinPharm).

• Experience in inventory and stock control.

• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment:
