Patient Care

We are looking for a Patient Care to join our team at BLESSY NURSING HEALTHCARE to provide quality homecare assistance services to patients. The day-to-day tasks involve maintaining the hygiene of patient conditions, feeding, bathing, sponging, changing the diaper and help in patient daily activities. The position offers an in-hand salary of ₹18000 - ₹24000.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients in daily living activities – bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.

• Support mobility and comfort — help in walking, changing positions, and preventing bedsores.

• Provide feeding assistance (oral, Ryle’s tube, or PEG as instructed).

• Monitor and report changes in vital signs, appetite, or behavior to the nurse or supervisor.

• Assist nurses and physiotherapists during procedures or exercises.

• Help in preparing basic items for patient care (e.g., water, medicines, dressing tray).

• Escort patients for medical appointments if required.

• Offer companionship and emotional comfort, especially to elderly or bedridden patients.

• Communicate politely and patiently with both patients and family members.

• Maintain confidentiality and uphold the dignity of the patient.

• Manage basic home cleanliness related to patient care area.

• Handle disposal of biomedical waste as per protocol.

• Ensure safe use of equipment like oxygen cylinder, suction machine, or nebulizer (as trained).

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is below 10th and 0.5 - 6+ years of experience. Problem-solving skills, the ability to multitask, compassionate and good communication skills are a must. Additional certification in relevant fields is a plus.
