Position Title: Patient Care Counsellor – Post Consultation Room

Location: Superhealth Hospital, Koramangala, Bangalore

Reports To: Unit Operations Head

Shift Timing -

Pharmacy & Medication Coordination

● Explain medication usage instructions if required and ensure understanding.

● Dispatch medicine in the OPD room and proceed with the necessary bill flow

Insurance/Cash Clarification

● Provide basic guidance on whether the treatment or admission will be cash or

insurance-based.

● Coordinate with the finance/TPA team if consultant’s advice involves preauthorization or

estimates generation.

consultants, patients, and support teams — not just managing coordination, but also offering

reassurance, clarity, and guidance at every stage of the patient journey. This role demands empathy,

comforting healthcare experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Post-Consultation Clinical Coordination

Accurately read, interpret, and transcribe doctor prescriptions and clinical notes.

Explain prescribed procedures, diagnostics, and medication instructions to patients and

attenders with clarity and empathy.

Facilitate scheduling and booking of (Blood investigations, Urine sample submissions

,Radiology procedures (X-ray, USG, CT, MRI, etc, Pre-Anaesthesia Check (PAC) slots,

Minor/Daycare procedures, OT slots or Medical Admission (IPD), Other Interdepartmental

or Specialist Referrals

Support consultants by documenting follow-up plans, procedures, and next visit instructions.
