Job Description – Nursing Supervisor

Department: Nursing Operations
Reports To: Operations Manager / Nursing Head

Job Summary

Responsible for supervising nursing staff, coordinating patient care services, monitoring staff deployment, ensuring clinical quality, and maintaining smooth day-to-day homecare operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff, duty rosters, attendance, and patient assignments.

• Monitor patient care delivery, clinical documentation, and patient summary reports.

• Coordinate patient admissions, discharges, shift handovers, and care continuity.

• Conduct regular patient visits and monitor service quality and patient satisfaction.

• Ensure compliance with nursing protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards.

• Support nurse onboarding, induction, training, and performance monitoring.

• Coordinate with doctors, patients, caregivers, and internal operations teams.

• Handle patient and staff grievances, incidents, and escalations promptly.

• Track staffing requirements, absenteeism, replacements, and emergency deployments.

• Maintain accurate reports and ensure adherence to organizational policies.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.Sc. Nursing with a valid nursing registration.

• 2–5 years of nursing experience; supervisory or homecare experience preferred.

• Strong communication, team management, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in documentation, reporting, and basic computer applications.
