Nursing Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Nursing Staff to provide high-quality care to patients in our hospital. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in patient care practices, able to handle medical equipment, and work collaboratively with doctors and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily care and medical attention to patients

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians

• Monitor patient health, record observations, and update medical charts

• Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and rounds

• Maintain hygiene, infection control, and patient safety protocols

• Support patient mobility and assist with feeding, bathing, and other personal needs

• Communicate effectively with patients and their families about care plans and concerns

• Handle emergency situations with composure and professional judgment

• Ensure all nursing supplies and equipment are available and functional

• Adhere to all hospital policies and standard operating procedures

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Degree in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM), B.Sc. Nursing, or equivalent

• Registered with State Nursing Council

• Basic knowledge of patient care equipment and hospital procedures

• Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in rotational shifts, including nights and weekends

• Compassionate, responsible, and patient-focused

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting

• Basic knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR)

• Training in BLS/ACLS is an advantage

Working Conditions:

• Hospital/clinical environment

• Rotational shifts and emergency duty may be required

• Use of PPE and adherence to infection control measures is mandatory
