provide round-the-clock medical care and monitoring for premature, critically ill, or vulnerable newborns.
Core Responsibilities
Patient Monitoring: Check vital signs, heart rates, breathing, and oxygen levels constantly.
Medical Treatments: Administer intravenous (IV) fluids, medications, and blood transfusions as prescribed.
Equipment Management: Operate and maintain specialized machinery like incubators, ventilators, and feeding tubes.
Assessments: Perform physical head-to-toe checks on infants to track growth and spot sudden health changes.
Family Support: Teach parents how to hold, feed, and care for their baby, while offering emotional guidance during a stressful time.
