We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Report Typist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately typing, formatting, and maintaining medical reports, diagnostic reports, patient records, discharge summaries, and clinical documentation. Strong typing speed, medical terminology knowledge, and attention to detail are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Type and prepare medical reports, patient summaries, discharge reports, and diagnostic findings accurately.
Convert handwritten notes, audio dictations, and scanned documents into electronic records.
Review reports for grammatical accuracy, formatting consistency, and completeness.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information and comply with healthcare data protection standards.
Coordinate with doctors, radiologists, pathologists, and healthcare professionals for report corrections and updates.
Manage electronic medical records (EMR) and document filing systems.
Ensure timely completion and delivery of medical reports.
Perform data entry and administrative support tasks as required.
Required Skills:
Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare documentation.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and EMR/EHR software.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work under deadlines and handle confidential information.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Qualifications:
Any Graduate / Diploma in Medical Transcription, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
1–3 years of experience as a Medical Report Typist, Medical Transcriptionist, or Healthcare Data Entry Executive.
Freshers with excellent typing skills and medical terminology knowledge may also apply.
