ICU Staff Nurse

Job Title: Staff Nurse (ICU / OT / Ward)

Job Summary:

We are looking for qualified and dedicated Staff Nurses for ICU, Operation Theatre (OT), and General Ward to provide high-quality patient care and support clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

ICU Nurse Responsibilities:

• Monitor critically ill patients and record vital signs.

• Administer medications, injections, and IV fluids as prescribed.

• Operate and monitor ICU equipment such as ventilators, monitors, infusion pumps, etc.

• Assist doctors during emergency procedures and critical interventions.

• Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.

• Ensure infection control and patient safety protocols.

OT Nurse Responsibilities:

• Prepare operation theatre before surgeries.

• Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and surgical teams during procedures.

• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.

• Maintain OT aseptic protocols and infection control standards.

• Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery.

• Manage surgical inventory and OT documentation.

General Ward Staff Nurse Responsibilities:

• Provide routine nursing care to admitted patients.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to doctors.

• Assist in patient admission, discharge, and counseling.

• Maintain nursing records and reports.

• Ensure patient hygiene, comfort, and safety.

Requirements:

• GNM / B.Sc Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing

• Valid Nursing Registration Certificate

• Minimum 1–2 years experience preferred (Freshers may apply, if required)

• Experience in ICU / OT / Critical Care preferred

• Good communication and patient care skills

• Ability to work in rotational shifts

Preferred Skills:

• Critical care management

• Emergency response handling

• Knowledge of NABH protocols (preferred)

• Teamwork and patient-centered care
