Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and attentive Ayurveda Hospital Attendant to support our clinical team and assist patients with day-to-day care and movement within the hospital. You will play a vital role in keeping therapy rooms prepared, helping patients undergo Ayurvedic treatments comfortably, and maintaining a hygienic healing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Assistance: Assist patients with mobility, walking, personal hygiene, and transferring between rooms, therapy units, and wards.
Therapy Room Preparation: Prepare therapy rooms prior to Panchakarma procedures (arranging oils, herbal powders, steam equipment, and clean linen).
Post-Therapy Support: Assist therapists and nurses during treatments (e.g., preparing bath water, assisting patients post-Shirodhara/Abhyanga).
Facility Maintenance: Clean and sanitize Panchakarma tables (Droni), therapy equipment, steam chambers, and patient care areas after each session.
Linen & Supply Management: Manage the collection, washing, and stocking of clean towels, therapy sheets, and uniforms.
Errands & Transfers: Transport lab samples, bring medicine packets from the pharmacy, and assist with food distribution following dietary guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: High school diploma / 10th or 12th standard completion. A certificate in Ayurvedic Attendant or Panchakarma Assistant training is preferred.
Experience: Prior experience as a hospital attendant, nursing aide, or therapy assistant in a healthcare setting is a plus.
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients as well as stand for extended periods.
Personal Qualities: Polite behavior, cleanliness, willingness to learn Ayurvedic care practices, and a service-oriented mindset.
