Role:
Provide compassionate in-home care to elderly or recovering patients, assisting with daily living, safety, and basic health monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support mobility including walking, transferring, and fall prevention.
• Help with feeding and medication reminders as prescribed by the family or nurse.
• Monitor basic health indicators (temperature, pulse, BP if trained).
• Maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness of the patient and surrounding area.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to the patient.
• Assist with light household tasks related to patient care (bed making, patient laundry).
• Observe and report any changes in the patient’s physical or mental condition.
• Follow care instructions given by doctors, nurses, or family members.
• Maintain dignity, privacy, and safety of the patient at all times.
Requirements
• Basic caregiver / nursing assistant training preferred
• Experience in eldercare, patient care, or hospital assistance
• Patient, compassionate, and responsible personality
• Ability to handle elderly or bedridden patients safely
