GDA (General Duty Assistant) – Homecare Role in the Delhi NCR location:

Job Title: General Duty Assistant (GDA) – Homecare

Location: Delhi NCR (Noida, Gurgaon, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Delhi)

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Shifts: Day / Night / 12 & 24-hour live-in
Salary: ₹12,000 – ₹22,000 per month (based on experience and shift type)

Job Summary

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate General Duty Assistants (GDA) to provide home-based patient care in Delhi NCR. The GDA will support patients with daily living activities, monitor basic health conditions, and ensure hygiene and comfort under the supervision of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene: bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing

• Help with mobility: transferring from bed to wheelchair, walking support

• Administer oral medications as per schedule

• Monitor vital signs: blood pressure, temperature, pulse, etc.

• Assist with feeding and ensuring adequate nutrition

• Maintain cleanliness of patient’s room and bed

• Provide basic wound care and dressing (if trained)

• Support elderly or bedridden patients with repositioning to prevent bedsores

• Record patient information and report changes to supervising nurse/doctor

• Offer emotional support and companionship to patients

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: GDA certified (NSDC or equivalent preferred)

• Experience: Minimum 6 months – 1 year in homecare/hospital preferred

• Gender: Male/Female both can apply

• Age: 20 to 45 years

• Language: Hindi (basic English preferred)

• Should be physically fit and punctual

• Must carry a valid ID and address proof

• Willingness to work flexible shifts

• Polite and empathetic communication with patients and family members

• COVID vaccination certificate mandatory
