Emergency Medical Technician (ACLS Certified)

We are looking for skilled and compassionate Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to join our team at Medulance. The EMT will be responsible for providing pre-hospital emergency medical care, stabilizing patients, and ensuring safe transportation to medical facilities. The role requires dedication to patient care and readiness to work in a 12-hour shift rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Emergency Medical Care:

• Respond to emergency calls promptly and provide first aid, CPR, and other critical interventions as required.

• Assess patients' conditions and determine appropriate treatments or interventions based on established protocols.

• Safe Transportation:

• Safely transfer patients to designated healthcare facilities, ensuring their comfort and stability during transit.

• Communicate effectively with hospital staff regarding patient conditions and required interventions.

• Equipment Maintenance:

• Check and maintain all medical equipment, supplies, and drugs in the ambulance to ensure they are in good working condition.

• Regularly restock supplies and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.

• Documentation:

• Complete detailed and accurate patient care reports, including vital signs, medical history, and interventions provided.

• Submit reports promptly as per organizational protocols.

• Compliance and Safety:

• Adhere to Medulance’s protocols, medical guidelines, and safety standards.

• Follow infection prevention and control measures, especially when handling patients with infectious diseases.

• Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with ambulance drivers, paramedics, and dispatch teams for coordinated patient care.

• Support teammates in high-pressure situations to ensure effective care delivery.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) from a recognized institution.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification preferred.

• At least 1-2 years of experience in pre-hospital emergency care or related fields.

• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick, critical decisions.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Physically fit to assist patients and work long shifts.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including 12-hour rotating shifts.

• It is a Full Time Nurse / Compounder job for candidates with 1 - 5 years of experience.
