Clinic Receptionist
We are looking for a polite, organized, and customer-focused Clinic Receptionist to manage front-desk activities and coordinate patient communication. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling phone calls, welcoming patients, receiving payments, and maintaining proper records of receipts while ensuring a smooth flow of daily clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, and provide information about clinic services.
- Maintain appointment records and update schedules regularly.
- Handle patient registrations and maintain accurate files and records.
- Collect consultation fees, treatment payments, and other charges from patients.
- Issue receipts and maintain proper records of payments received.
- Manage cash transactions and ensure daily account reconciliation.
- Assist in basic administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, welcoming, and well-organized.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
Skills and Requirements
- Minimum qualification: Higher Secondary (12th pass) or a graduate preferred.
- Prior experience as a receptionist, cashier, or front-office staff is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and the local language.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, email, billing software).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and handle patients politely, even in busy situations.
- Trustworthy and responsible in handling money.
Working Hours
- Full-time position (timings as per clinic schedule).
