Key Skills:
Experience with ERP systems and tracking software.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Logistics Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the logistics operations, including booking full and part load containers as per requirements, obtaining quotations from vendors, negotiating rates, overseeing vehicle tracking, and coordinating with transporters. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills to ensure timely deliveries and receivables from various vendors.
Principle Responsibilities:
1. Container Booking:
- Book full and part load containers according to shipping and delivery requirements.
- Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and company policies.
2. Vendor Management:
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from transportation vendors.
- Negotiate rates and service agreements to achieve cost-effective logistics solutions.
3. Vehicle Tracking Management:
- Oversee real-time tracking of vehicles and shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Utilize tracking software and tools to monitor shipment status and respond to any delays.
4. Coordination with Transporters:
- Act as the primary point of contact for transporters.
- Confirm rates and delivery times with transporters.
- Ensure effective communication to facilitate smooth logistics operations.
5. Receivables Follow-Up:
- Monitor and follow up on timely receipts from vendors and clients.
- Address any issues or discrepancies related to payments and receivables.
6. Documentation Management:
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, contracts, and communications with vendors and transporters.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is completed and up-to-date.
7. Reporting:
- Prepare periodic reports on logistics operations, including cost analysis, delivery performance, and vendor evaluations.
- Identify areas for improvement and suggest solutions.
8. Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere to all safety regulations and industry standards during logistics operations.
