Job Summary:

As a Waiter at Desi Rasoi, you will be the face of our restaurant, ensuring guests receive warm, courteous, and efficient service. Your responsibilities include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment. Your goal is to enhance the dining experience and uphold the reputation of Desi Rasoi.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Guest Service:

   • Greet guests with a friendly attitude and assist them with seating.

   • Present menus, provide recommendations, and answer questions about dishes.

   • Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen promptly.

2. Order Delivery & Coordination:

   • Serve food and drinks in a timely and polite manner.

   • Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction and offer additional items.

3. Table Management:

   • Clear and clean tables after guests leave.

   • Reset tables efficiently for the next guests.

4. Billing & Payment:

   • Provide bills to guests and process cash or digital payments.

   • Ensure accurate billing and maintain proper record of transactions.

5. Cleanliness & Hygiene:

   • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.

   • Follow all hygiene and food safety standards as per restaurant policies.

6. Team Coordination:

   • Coordinate with kitchen and counter staff to manage smooth service flow.

   • Report guest complaints or special requests to the supervisor.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 10th or 12th pass (preferred).

• Previous experience as a waiter or in a customer service role is a plus.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.

• Presentable appearance and polite demeanor.

• Basic knowledge of food items and restaurant etiquette.

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

• Rotational shifts including weekends and holidays.

• Long hours of standing and walking.
