We are looking for a Marine Recruiter to help us find and hire qualified seafarers and marine professionals for various shipping and offshore roles. You will be responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and selecting candidates for positions such as deck officers, engineers, crew members, and other marine-related roles.
Key Responsibilities:
Search for qualified seafarers and marine staff using databases, job portals, and networking.
Screen resumes and conduct interviews to evaluate candidates.
Coordinate with crewing managers and clients to understand hiring needs.
Handle documentation and ensure candidates meet required certifications and regulations (STCW, CDC, etc.).
Maintain a database of active and potential candidates.
Assist in onboarding and joining procedures.
Stay updated on industry trends and marine recruitment standards.
Requirements:
Experience in recruitment or HR (marine industry experience is a plus).
Knowledge of seafaring roles, marine certifications, and international maritime regulations.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple job openings.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in marine crewing or recruitment agency
Familiarity with maritime compliance and documentation
Basic computer skills (Excel, Email, CRM tools)
