Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and driven Sales Officer to join our dynamic team. The role involves building strong relationships with school management, pitching our educational products and services, and achieving sales targets through structured lead generation and follow-ups.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, research, and approach schools, educational institutions, and learning centers.
Schedule and conduct meetings with school principals, academic coordinators, and trustees.
Deliver engaging presentations and product demonstrations related to Robotics, AI, and STEM kits.
Understand client needs and tailor solutions that align with their curriculum goals.
Achieve assigned sales targets within the assigned territory.
Maintain records of leads, calls, meetings, and conversions in the CRM system.
Collaborate with the marketing team to support local promotional campaigns and events.
Prepare proposals, quotations, and follow-ups until closure.
Provide post-sale support to ensure smooth onboarding and satisfaction.
Travel regularly for client meetings and on-ground sales activities.
Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Science, or related field.
1–3 years of field sales or institutional sales experience (preferably in Edutech or B2B).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to engage school leaders and influence decisions effectively.
Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and CRM software.
Fluency in English and [insert local language – e.g., Tamil, Hindi] is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in selling to schools or educational products.
Understanding of the academic structure and school ecosystem.
Exposure to STEM or technology-based education solutions.
