Commi 3 is an entry-level kitchen position responsible for performing basic preparation tasks, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and supporting higher-level kitchen staff. This role is ideal for individuals beginning their culinary career and looking to build foundational skills while contributing to daily kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Wash, peel, and cut vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients as directed.
Assist in basic preparation tasks such as grinding, mixing, and portioning.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, tools, and equipment in compliance with hygiene standards.
Support Commi 2, Commi 1, and senior chefs with mise-en-place and workstation setup.
Store raw materials and food items properly using labeling and FIFO practices.
Dispose of waste in accordance with food safety regulations.
Assist with packing, labeling, and transporting food items as needed.
Follow all kitchen safety guidelines and report any hazards or issues immediately.
