Operation Manager

Core Responsibilities

• Operational Oversight

  • Manage and oversee the insurance operations team (underwriting, claims, policy administration, customer service, etc.).

  • Ensure smooth execution of insurance processes, from policy issuance to claims settlement.

• Process Improvement

  • Analyze workflows and implement efficiency improvements.

  • Streamline operations to reduce turnaround time and operational costs.

• Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (IRDAI in India, NAIC in the US, etc.).

  • Monitor risk exposure and implement mitigation strategies.

• Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, train, and mentor operations staff.

  • Set performance goals and conduct regular appraisals.
