The Plant Head will be responsible for the overall performance, safety, and compliance of the solar power plant. This role ensures efficient operations and maintenance, manages on-site personnel, and liaises with regulatory bodies and corporate leadership to ensure plant KPIs are met.
Operational Leadership:
Lead the day-to-day operations of the solar power plant (e.g., 50 MW+).
Ensure optimal performance and availability of the plant.
Monitor and analyze generation data and ensure targets are met or exceeded.
Maintenance Oversight:
Implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies.
Supervise maintenance teams, contractors, and vendors.
Team Management:
Lead a multidisciplinary on-site team (technicians, engineers, admin).
Conduct performance reviews, training, and mentorship.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure adherence to HSE policies and safety protocols.
Comply with local/state regulatory requirements (CEA, DISCOM, etc.).
Budgeting & Reporting:
Manage O&M budgets and control operational costs.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports.
Stakeholder Management:
Coordinate with utility partners, government authorities, and internal departments.
Represent the company during audits and inspections.
