Accounts Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online and/or Xero

• Record and categorize financial transactions (sales, purchases, payments, etc.)

• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts regularly

• Manage accounts payable and receivable

• Process client payroll using platforms like ADP, Gusto, or Wagepoint

• Assist in payroll tax filing and reporting (US/Canada)

• Handle sales tax/GST/HST filing as per respective state/province regulations

• Support monthly and year-end closing procedures

• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation

• Communicate with team leaders and respond to client queries professionally

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in US/Canadian bookkeeping

• Experience with QuickBooks Online and/or Xero is required

• Knowledge of payroll processing and payroll tax filings (USA/Canada)

• Familiarity with sales tax filing in various US states and Canadian provinces

• Strong understanding of basic accounting and reconciliation processes

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English

• Ability to work in evening/night shifts aligned with North American clients

• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable
