– Perform charging and discharging of SLA batteries using designated testing equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.
– Monitor and record key test parameters, including Ampere-hour (Ah) capacity, charge/discharge time, voltage and other relevant readings.
– Analyse test results to determine battery condition and eligibility for warranty claims as per company guidelines.
– Maintain accurate testing records, warranty reports and customer data using MS Excel.
– Coordinate with customers on battery testing status, warranty approval or rejection, and product-related queries in a professional manner.
– Ensure safe handling and correct operation of batteries and testing equipment at all times.
– Maintain cleanliness, organisation and orderly stock arrangement within the testing and service area.
– Report defective batteries, equipment faults and abnormal test observations to the reporting manager promptly.
