Job Summary
The Service Engineer is responsible for the installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and technical support of air compressors and related equipment at customer sites. The role requires ensuring maximum equipment uptime, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Install, commission, and test air compressors and associated systems at customer locations.
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on rotary screw, reciprocating, and oil-free air compressors.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults and carry out effective repairs.
Respond promptly to customer service requests and minimize equipment downtime.
Conduct routine inspections and recommend preventive maintenance schedules.
Prepare detailed service reports, maintenance records, and customer visit reports.
Maintain service tools, instruments, and spare parts inventory.
Provide technical guidance and operational training to customers.
Coordinate with the sales, production, and spare parts teams for timely service support.
Ensure compliance with company safety policies and customer site regulations.
Identify opportunities for Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), spare parts, and service upgrades.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional service delivery.
