Service engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Service Engineer to handle installation, commissioning, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial burners and combustion systems. The candidate will be responsible for on-site service support, breakdown handling, and ensuring safe and efficient burner operation at customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Installation, commissioning, and servicing of industrial burners and related equipment

• Troubleshooting burner faults (ignition failure, flame failure, pressure issues, etc.)

• Conduct preventive maintenance and annual servicing

• Attend breakdown calls and provide prompt technical support at customer sites

• Perform burner tuning and combustion analysis for optimal performance

• Maintain service reports and job completion records

• Coordinate with customers for site visits and service schedules

• Follow safety procedures and company service standards

• Provide basic operational training to customer staff

• Support spare parts identification and replacement

Requirements

• Diploma / ITI / Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering

• 1–3 years experience in industrial burner / boiler / furnace service (preferred)

• Basic knowledge of fuel systems (LPG, PNG, Diesel, FO, Natural Gas)

• Understanding of combustion systems, flame safeguard controls, pressure switches, and solenoid valves

• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals

• Willingness to travel to customer sites

• Two-wheeler / four-wheeler driving license preferred
