SITE ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities

Supervision and execution of Hydro Mechanical works at project site.

Erection, alignment, and installation of pen stocks.

Assembly, installation, and refurbishment of hydro mechanical (HM) (Main Inlet Valve) including refurbishment of HP air vessel and hydraulic panel.Fabrication of pen stocks, LP air vessels, and hydraulic panel.

Handling of sub-contractors for complete HM packages.

Preparation of daily and monthly progress report.

Coordination with other team for inspection (NDT) and documentation.

Preparation of daily DPR and MOM.Checking of sub-contractors measurements and valuation.

Onsite checking of HM packages and report to higher authorities and Project Manager.

Preparation of RA bills, sub-contractors bill and their certification.

Preparation of daily work schedule and manpower handling.

Maintaining proper log book, measurement record and site records for QM’s and

client’s requirements and smooth conduction for inspections and approvals.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of Hydro Power Plant / Thermal Power Plant piping systems.

Knowledge of erection HM valve assembly and alignment.

Ability to read and interpret drawings and alignment NDT.

Knowledge of hydro testing procedures.Good knowledge of welding procedures and documentation.

Basic knowledge of welding procedures (NDT) and NDT activities.

Good communication skills and team handling capacity.

• It is a Full Time Mechanic job for candidates with 1 - 5 years of experience.
