Machine Servicing and Refurbishment:
– Perform maintenance, repairs, and refurbishment of diagnostic instruments at the Service Centre.
– Conduct quality checks and validations after servicing and refurbishment activities.
– Perform QC of new instruments and spare parts before deployment.
Spare Parts Management:
– Review spare part requests raised by field engineers and validate them as per company process and policy.
– Carry out component-level repairs when applicable.
– Manage warranty claims and coordination with vendors for replacements or repairs.
Remote Technical Support:
– Provide remote troubleshooting support to field service engineers and customers.
– Assist in diagnosing technical issues, suggesting solutions, and guiding the resolution process remotely.
– Escalate unresolved or critical technical issues to senior engineers or managers promptly.
– Manage remote PC access to machines for software upgrades and related tasks.
Qualifications & Experience:
– Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation or related fields. – 0-2 years of experience in service, maintenance, or refurbishment of diagnostic instruments. – Familiarity with IVD instruments such as CLIA, Hematology analyzers, or Laboratory Automation systems is preferred.

– Strong technical troubleshooting and repair skills. – Highly organized, disciplined, and detail-oriented. – Good communication skills for internal coordination and customer interaction. – Ability to handle multiple service requests, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
