Position: Server Engineer

Experience: 3–4 Years

Salary: ₹25,000/month

Job Type: Field (On-Site Support within Jaipur)

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of server hardware (HPE, Dell, Lenovo).

• Handle deployment and support of server operating systems including Windows Server 2012/2016/2019, CentOS, and Ubuntu.

• Configure and manage Active Directory (AD) environments including Domain Controllers, Group Policies, and File Servers.

• Implement and troubleshoot NAS solutions (both branded and open-source) for services like file sharing, storage management, and backup.

• Plan and execute server and desktop backup solutions using various backup software/tools.

• Maintain documentation and ensure systems are compliant with company policies and standards.
  

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in server hardware installation and configuration.

• Proficiency in Windows/Linux server OS setup and management.

• Good knowledge of Active Directory, Domain Controller, and GPO implementation.

• Experience in configuring NAS systems such as Synology, QNAP, or similar platforms.

• Working knowledge of backup software (Acronis, Veeam, etc.) for server/workstation backups.
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMware ESXi or Microsoft Hyper-V.

• Understanding of RAID configurations, remote management (iLO, iDRAC), and basic networking.
  
  

Other Requirements:

• Must be willing to travel within Jaipur for on-site installations and support.

• Should possess a problem-solving attitude with excellent communication skills.
