Job Summary – Forklift Service Mechanic

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Forklift Service Mechanic to inspect, maintain, and repair forklifts and material handling equipment. The candidate should be able to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and perform preventive maintenance to ensure smooth and safe operation of machines.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform servicing and preventive maintenance of forklifts

• Diagnose and repair engine, hydraulic, electrical, and transmission issues

• Attend breakdown calls at customer locations

• Replace damaged or worn-out spare parts

• Conduct machine inspections and prepare service reports

• Ensure proper usage of tools and safety procedures

• Coordinate with service team and customers regarding repair status

Requirements

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, or related field

• Experience in forklift or heavy equipment service preferred

• Basic knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems

• Ability to travel for onsite service work

• Good troubleshooting and communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in forklift brands and material handling equipment

• Customer handling ability

• Basic computer or mobile reporting knowledge
