1. Read and interpret piping isometric drawings, P&IDs, tubing layouts, and engineering specifications for installation work.
2. Measure, cut, bend, prepare, and install stainless steel (SS) tubing and piping, aluminum piping, and associated fittings as per project requirements.
3. Assemble and install process piping systems for CDA (Clean Dry Air), JDS, and other industrial gas distribution systems.
4. Perform accurate tube bending, flaring, swaging, and fitting using appropriate tools and ensure leak-free connections.
5. Install valves, regulators, filters, gauges, manifolds, and pipe supports according to approved drawings and specifications.
6. Ensure proper alignment, routing, slope, and support of piping and tubing before final tightening or testing.
7. Conduct pressure testing, leak testing, flushing, and cleaning of piping and gas systems to verify system integrity.
8. Follow all safety procedures, permit-to-work requirements, and use appropriate PPE while working with pressurized gas systems.
9. Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, welders, QA/QC inspectors, and other trades to ensure timely and quality completion of work.
10. Maintain tools, equipment, and documentation while ensuring all piping and tubing installations comply with applicable codes, standards, and customer specifications.
