Machine Maintenance Officer

We are looking for a Vehicle Maintenance Officer to join our team at Shivshankar Security And Facility Services Private Limited to assemble, maintain and repair machinery and vehicles. In this role, you will make sure that machines, engines and mechanical systems work properly and run smoothly. The position offers an in-hand salary of ₹25000 - ₹40000 and growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and authenticate the durability of auto parts (special focus on TATA Motors Heavy Vehicles) before repair work.

  • Approve repair jobs only after thorough part verification and quality checks.

  • Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of heavy vehicles.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in engines, transmissions, and vehicle systems.

  • Supervise repair activities and ensure compliance with service center standards.

  • Maintain records of inspections, approvals, and repair work.

  • Guide drivers and staff on preventive maintenance practices.

  • Strong knowledge of auto parts and mechanical systems of TATA Motors Heavy Vehicles.

  • Familiarity with service center processes and tools (blueprints, measurement instruments, mechanical tools).

  • Ability to identify part wear, durability issues, and ensure safe vehicle operation.

• Inspect and figure out issues in engines, machines and transmissions.

• Perform repairs to ensure better and smooth performance.

• Troubleshoot and fix reported mechanical problems.

• Conduct regular maintenance and lubrication of machinery.

• Refill fluids and replace worn-out components.

• Guide users on proper maintenance and prevention measures.

• Keep records of work done and report any issues.

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is Graduate / Post Graduate in Automobile Engineering (preferred) and 2 - 5 years of experience. The position requires excellent knowledge of machinery (Auto Parts of TATA Heavy Vehicle), electrical and other systems and their components. The candidate must be familiar with reading blueprints, using screwdrivers, hammers and measurement tools.

• It is a Full Time Mechanic job for candidates with 2 - 5 years of experience.
