Lead - I&C Responsibilities Responsible for review and updating of specifications, design guides, standard specification forms/drawings of field instruments. Responsible for design engineering, sizing & selection of various valves, including but not limited to ball valves, gate valves, butterfly valves, safety relief valves, etc. Responsible to review, analyze and provide recommendation/ approval on technical queries, deviation/ concession requests, site engineering request, engineering change request raised by detail engineering contractors, construction team and end users. To participate in HAZOP/SIL/Cyber HLRA-Detailed level RA & implement recommendations of these studies in Instrumentation design. To review material requisition for and for purchase including scope of work, techinical requirements, HSE and quality requiremenrts and vendor drawing deliverables schedule. Review and evaluation of vendor bids for instrumentation system and field instruments including layout drawing, datasheets, sizing and calculation. Design and implementation of automation subsystem using PLC, SCADA, HMI and gateways and interfacing with centralized system DCS, ESD, FGS/CCTV, MCMS, CEMS, BMS control systems. To perform technical audits of various DECs for compliance to project specifications and procedures. Selection and interface type testing of foundation fieldbus, Ethernet devices, IIOT with DCS. Review of project specific common instrument related vendor documents like functional design specifications, ITP, test procedures and codes/ standard requirements. Interaction with Instrumentation vendors for interfaction during engineering & project management to support project requirement. Coordinating and implimenting different interdisciplinary procedures and requirements mainly with electrical, piping and civil. Responsible for P&ID 3D model review, HAZOP and SIL review at contractors end and resolving instrumentation related issues. Updating of project related instrumentation &control standard drawings, system &instrument specifications and conceptual design guidelines based on change in code/standard Qualifications B.E/ B.Tech in Instrumentation from a reputed institute/ university. Masrters degree in the same is preferred. Experiences: Minimum 20+ Years of relevant work experience with 10-12 years minimum in the similar role / Engineering & project in a large sized organisation Skills: Should have sound knowledge about DCS, ESD, SIS, F&G, PLC, SCADA, Cyber security etc. Should have knowledge about industry codes and standards applicable to petrochemical industries.(API, ISA, NEC/IEC, NFPA, ASME etc) Should be familiar with software like INTOOLS, INCAL & other engineereing software etc.
