Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop new mechanical systems and components for industrial machines and equipment.

• Create detailed 2D & 3D CAD models, assemblies, and technical drawings using SolidWorks, Solid Edge, or AutoCAD.

• Perform engineering calculations and simulations to ensure performance, safety, and durability.

• Select suitable materials, components, and manufacturing processes based on design requirements and cost.

• Collaborate with electrical, automation, and manufacturing teams for integrated machine solutions.

• Conduct design reviews and provide technical support to team members.

• Prepare and maintain BOMs, ECOs, and technical documentation.

• Participate in prototype development, assembly, and troubleshooting.

• Stay updated with the latest mechanical design practices and technologies.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.

• 2–3 years of experience in machine design with a proven project portfolio.

• Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks, Solid Edge) and 2D drafting (AutoCAD).

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes: machining, welding, sheet-metal fabrication.

• Understanding of GD&T and its application in drawings.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of robotics, automation, and control systems.

• Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations.
