Fabrication mechanic

The candidate will be responsible for fabrication, fit-up, assembly, cutting, grinding, and preparation of MS/SS components as per engineering drawings, measurements, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and understand fabrication drawings, sketches, and measurements.

• Perform MS/SS fabrication and fit-up work.

• Mark, measure, cut, and prepare plates, angles, channels, beams, pipes, and other sections.

• Perform fabrication of tanks, structures, platforms, supports, frames, ducting, and mechanical components.

• Carry out proper alignment, leveling, squaring, and dimensional checking.

• Use gas cutting, plasma cutting, grinding, drilling, and other fabrication tools.

• Prepare components for welding and coordinate with welders for final welding.

• Perform grinding, finishing, dressing, and correction of fabricated components.

• Check dimensions and workmanship before handing over components for inspection.

• Follow fabrication drawings, specifications, and project quality requirements.

• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and statutory regulations.

• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.

• Coordinate with supervisors, fitters, welders, and other project personnel.

• Maintain productivity and complete assigned work within project timelines.

• It is a Full Time Mechanic job for candidates with 3 - 6 years of experience.
