## Job Summary

Shakti Engineering is looking for a skilled and dedicated Fabricator with 2–3 years of experience in heavy fabrication and sheet metal work. The ideal candidate should be capable of reading engineering drawings, fabricating machine components accurately, and ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards.

## Key Responsibilities

* Read and interpret fabrication drawings and engineering blueprints.

* Fabricate machine frames, tanks, hoppers, platforms, and structural components as per drawings.

* Perform cutting, grinding, fitting, drilling, and assembly of MS, SS, and other metal components.

* Carry out welding preparation and coordinate with welders during fabrication.

* Ensure dimensional accuracy using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, measuring tapes, and angle gauges.

* Operate fabrication equipment including cutting machines, drilling machines, grinders, and power tools.

* Inspect fabricated components before forwarding them for welding or assembly.

* Maintain quality standards and minimize material wastage.

* Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.

* Coordinate with the production and quality teams to complete jobs within scheduled timelines.

## Required Skills

* Strong knowledge of fabrication processes and structural assembly.

* Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings.

* Experience in MS and SS fabrication.

* Knowledge of welding preparation and fit-up techniques.

* Familiarity with fabrication tools and measuring instruments.

* Good problem-solving and teamwork skills.

* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

## Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates with experience in any of the following industries will be preferred:
