About the Role

As an Evaluation Engineer at Cars24, you will be responsible for inspecting and evaluating used vehicles to determine their accurate condition and market value. You will play a key role in ensuring quality assessments for customers and supporting smooth operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspection of used cars including exterior, interior, engine, chassis, electricals, and test drive evaluation.

• Capture accurate data, photos, and reports in Cars24 applications/tools.

• Identify vehicle defects, accidental damages, and non-standard modifications.

• Evaluate vehicle conditions based on company guidelines and industry standards.

• Prepare inspection reports and recommend fair pricing based on assessment.

• Coordinate with the Operations and Sales teams for smooth transaction processes.

• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and professionalism during evaluations.

• Ensure compliance with all operational SOPs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / B.Tech in Automobile, Mechanical, or related technical fields (preferred).

• Freshers with strong automobile knowledge are welcome.

• Good understanding of vehicle components and repair estimation.

• Ability to identify accidental damages and mechanical issues.

• Strong communication and customer-handling skills.

• Basic knowledge of mobile apps and digital tools.

• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Mandatory Requirements

• Valid Driving License (LMV)

• Ability to drive both 2-Wheeler and 4-Wheeler

• Willingness to work on field inspections and travel locally when required
