Role Summary

Cars24 is hiring Evaluation Engineers for its Mumbai operations. The role involves inspecting, evaluating, and diagnosing used vehicles to determine their condition and market value. Candidates will work closely with technical and operations teams to ensure accurate assessments and smooth workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections of used cars as per Cars24 guidelines.

• Evaluate vehicle condition, including engine, mechanical components, body frame, tyres, suspension, interior, and electrical systems.

• Perform diagnostic tests and identify mechanical/electrical issues.

• Carry out test drives to assess vehicle performance.

• Prepare accurate and comprehensive inspection reports.

• Upload vehicle inspection data and photographs into the system.

• Ensure quality, accuracy, and adherence to evaluation standards.

• Coordinate with yard teams, retail teams, and other stakeholders for seamless vehicle movement.

• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and discipline at the yard or evaluation point.

Skills & Requirements

• ITI / Diploma (Automobile / Mechanical).

• Basic to good understanding of vehicle systems and components.

• Ability to drive both manual and automatic cars (mandatory/preferred as per requirement).

• Strong observation, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.

• Good communication and documentation skills.

• Ability to work in field environments.

• Eagerness to learn and grow in the automobile inspection domain.
