Job Title: Automobile Technician

Department: Service

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Automobile Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain customer vehicles. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of automotive systems, follow company SOPs, and ensure high-quality service with customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools.
Perform routine vehicle servicing and preventive maintenance.
Repair and replace defective parts such as engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, steering, and electrical components.
Conduct vehicle inspections and identify repair requirements.
Test drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure proper functioning.
Maintain accurate job cards and service records.
Follow manufacturer guidelines and workshop SOPs.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of workshop tools and equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area.
Coordinate with the Service Advisor regarding repair status and additional work requirements.

Required Qualifications

ITI/Diploma in Automobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
2–5 years of experience as an Automobile Technician (experience in Hyundai dealership preferred).
Knowledge of automotive diagnostic equipment.
Valid Driving License is preferred.

Skills Required

Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to read technical manuals and repair procedures.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
