Car mechanic

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, wheel alignment, and brake inspection.

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in cars.

• Repair and replace faulty parts including engines, clutch systems, brakes, suspension, and transmission.

• Conduct test drives to ensure issues are resolved.

• Maintain service records and update job cards.

• Ensure all tools and equipment are used safely.

• Provide accurate estimates of repair time and costs.

• Communicate clearly with customers and the service advisor about vehicle conditions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• ITI/Diploma in Automobile Engineering preferred.

• Strong knowledge of car components, engines, and diagnostic tools.

• Ability to identify mechanical problems quickly and accurately.

• Experience in multi-brand car servicing (preferred).

• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Physically fit and able to work under pressure.

• Basic understanding of vehicle electronics & scanning tools.
