Key Responsibilities
1. Denting Assistance
· Assist Senior Denters in identifying and repairing vehicle body dents.
· Support dismantling and refitting of bumpers, panels, trims, lights and other components as instructed.
· Assist in removing damaged body panels and preparing them for repair.
· Support dent pulling, panel straightening and basic body repair activities under supervision.
· Assist in fitting and alignment of repaired/replaced panels.
· Learn proper use of denting tools, hammers, dollies and other equipment.
2. Vehicle Preparation
· Prepare the vehicle and work area before starting dent-repair activities.
· Protect vehicle interiors, glass, trims and other components during repair.
· Keep removed vehicle parts safely and systematically.
· Assist in cleaning the vehicle and work area after completion of work.
3. Support to Senior Technicians
· Follow instructions given by the Sr. Dent Repair Technician / Supervisor.
· Provide tools and materials required for assigned jobs.
· Assist in moving vehicles and components safely within the workshop.
· Report any observed damage, defect or technical issue immediately to the supervisor.
4. Quality & Productivity
· Complete assigned support activities within the required TAT.
· Ensure proper fitting and alignment after repair.
· Avoid damage to vehicle components during dismantling and fitting.
· Follow Brotomotive denting SOPs and quality standards.
· Support reduction of rework by following instructions correctly.
5. Tools & Material Handling
· Handle denting tools and workshop equipment carefully.
· Maintain tools in clean and usable condition.
· Avoid unnecessary wastage of consumables.
· Report damaged or missing tools/materials to the supervisor.
6. Safety & 5S
· Follow workshop safety instructions and use required PPE.
· Maintain cleanliness and 5S in the denting area.
· Follow safe practices while handling tools, panels and vehicle components.
· Ensure proper storage of tools and removed parts.
