ABOUT THE ROLE

A Bike Inspection Engineer is responsible for checking, testing, and certifying bikes to make sure they’re safe, compliant, and road-worthy before sale, use.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES.

Inspect frame integrity (cracks, welds, alignment)
Check brakes, suspension, steering, wheels, engine
Inspect drivetrain (chain, gears, sprockets)
Verify torque settings and fasteners
Test electrical systems (e-bikes: battery, motor, wiring)
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
Perform road or bench tests
Document inspection results and issue pass/fail reports
Recommend repairs or replacements

KEY REQUIREMENT

4-8 years of Strong mechanical knowledge of bikes or motorcycles
Understanding of materials (aluminium, carbon fiber, steel)
Ability to read technical drawings/specs
Familiarity with inspection tools (callipers, torque wrenches, gauges)
Attention to detail (tiny faults matter)
Problem-solving and clear reporting
Basic electrical knowledge (for e-bikes or modern motorcycles)
